When was the last time you took a continuing education class?
If that question leaves you scratching your head, it’s time to check out the fall and winter offerings organized by Customer Service and Education Coordinator Michelle Arevalo. Michelle and Customer Service Representative Jessyca Hanson offer a one-two punch of services that can help you take your skills to the next level.
Here are their picks to build your business during the down period of the year.
Reel in more leads.
With so many people searching for agents online, old-school approaches don’t always lead to more sales. That’s why Michelle and Jessyca are so excited about new instructor Ashley Rojahn’s class, “Become an Internet Lead Master,” which will walk you through the crucial process of building more business from internet traffic. The class is scheduled for Nov. 13 and doesn’t count toward CE hours, but it may give you a fresh approach to tackling your business. (Note: This class is open to Realtors only.)
Some of the most popular classes make sense of the complex world of mortgages — with so many different types, it can be tough to figure out the best fit for your clients. Upcoming mortgage classes include the Real Estate Guide to Government Loans on Nov. 13 and Mortgage Mechanics 101 on Dec. 11.
These popular classes can help you better understand complex topics like FHA loans and home equity conversions. “All of our mortgage classes are great classes,” Michelle says. “But the home equity conversion classes are especially great if you have an older client base.”
Start prepping for a busy 2020.
Why not get your marketing materials and FARM lists ready before crunch time? Jessyca is on hand to help you prep so you can hit 2020 running. Jessyca is a new addition to the FNT customer service team, but she has extensive escrow experience and understands the pain points unique to busy real estate agents.
“This is the time for agents to be working on their marketing, especially after the holidays,” Jessyca says. “This is when you can get your name and face out there.”
She is available to organize homebooks, FARM lists, flyers, labels — whatever you might need to feel prepared as the calendar flips to another year.
“We’re here to help,” Jessyca says. “We hope agents know that we’re invested in their success.”
You can sign up for classes online through the Fidelity National Title website; Michelle says it’s ideal to register a week or two before the class, but they usually can accommodate last-minute signups.
