What happens when you get the best commercial brokers in the Valley, mix them with attorneys, investors, and builders, and talk about their most pressing needs and opportunities? If our Jan. 14 Exclusive Commercial Forum is any indication, the answer is: Deals.
“We watched three deals happen during our broker roundtable,” says Commercial Escrow Officer Kim Yelm.
This new monthly forum is designed to help commercial players make progress, according to Commercial Sales Executive Allie Napiontek. “We want our clients to show up with their problem listings, the ones that are really stalled,” she said. “This forum is a great space to have a candid conversation about how you can get help. We found that people were really receptive about helping each other, and as a group they came up with great ideas for marketing, rebranding, and tenant use.”
Coni Rathbone, a real estate attorney with Dunn Carney LLP, gave a presentation about opportunity zones (check out her guest column in this newsletter). Future events will feature guest speakers who will further the conversation about commercial real estate in the Valley.
The next Exclusive Commercial Forum will be held at Noon on Feb. 12 at 10 Barrel Brewing in Downtown Boise. To get on the invite list, or to become a speaker, contact Allie or Kim to reserve your spot. Guests are welcome, Kim says. “We want to bring everyone together to bounce ideas off each other and make deals happen,” she says.
“We want to provide value to our clients, and we appreciate the opportunity to host events like this,” Allie says. “We’d like to help people work together so they make the most of this booming economy.”
